Father Celestino Gutierrez, honored in Florida

Celestino Gutierrez, pastor of the church and spiritual leader of the area's Hispanic community to the west in Sarasota Florida (USA) was honored last week as exceptional family Angel of St. Jude . The work that has been developed Celestino has been important for the realization of events and programs for the needy.
Father Celestino Gutierrez was born in Bercimuel, is the son of Simeon Gutierrez. He was ordained in 1964 and later traveled to Guatemala where he exercised his missionary work for 17 years. For 23 lives in Sarasota connecting it to the church of Santa Marta and later Bishop John Nevins was appointed director of Hispanic Ministry, Diocese of Venice and from 2006 was the pastor of St. Jude Church. Follower of Real Madrid in the news 7days (site in Spanish for the Hispanic community in Florida) said that Celestino is famous for its delicious paella but his passion is gardening and fishing.
At Christmas and summer we can see from the village a few years and often by the mass of the party. We all feel proud that the villagers will be recognized in the world especially when the causes that move them are so kind.
